Rita Wilson, an American actress, singer, and producer, was born Margarita Ibrahimoff on October 26, 1956. Volunteers (1985), Sleepless in Seattle (1993), Now and Then (1995), That Thing You Do! (1996), Jingle All the Way (1996), The Story of Us (1999), Runaway Bride (1999), It’s Complicated (2009), and Larry Crowne (2011) are just a few of the movies in which she has starred.
She has also made appearances on the television shows The Good Wife and Girls. In addition to producing a number of movies, including My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Wilson has performed on Broadway (2002).
Wilson has recorded four studio albums as a singer/songwriter: AM/FM, Rita Wilson, Bigger Picture, and Halfway to Home. She was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in March 2019.
